I won't be doing ArtFight this year (heck I have yet to do one). Instead I wanna put my focus this summer into learning programming and other computering things.

I also want to get my emotes and new profiles done before the next week is over.

(I also had to redo the emotes from scratch because I wanted to make them bigger. They're now 320x320 rather than 160x160.)

( And with that, I think will be done with this silly challenge for now. This was a lot of fun and there were a ton more mermaids & critters I wanted to do but I've a lot of other things to do over the summer. But I might do this again next year, so save your mermaids until then! )

I'm making new profiles for me and my characters and here's a near final draft of what they're going to look like.

I’ve already turned my amabie ocs into mermaids in a past Mer-May, so now I’m doing the opposite!

Throughout the month, at random, I’ll be turning someone’s mermaid oc ( or any other sea creatures ) into an amabie! A fun little twist on the usual formula!

New preview of my new character emotes! Might make some changes, specially the head position.

I'm back from my offline break! Hope I didn't miss anything too crucial while I was gone.

I did say I was going to get some new profiles done before the break was over… but I may have gotten sidetracked and made a bunch of emotes instead. Whoops… 🫠 No problem though, I can still make sure my Line-Arts are ready for March if I put my focus into them.

I'm going to be taking the the entire next week off simply because I am not mentally ready to hear everyone shouting about what Onaldday Umptray is going to do as he's taking the office. While I'm gone I'll be on my new profiles and other life stuff as well.

I think I'll also be getting my Line-Arts for my next Line-Art Lent this year ready ahead of time. Lent doesn't start until March this year, but I wanna make sure I Glaze/Nightshade all of those Line-arts and it's take a long time to do so. How long? I did the math & it's to be around 12 DAYS!

And yes I know I'm picking the slowest options here, but I wanna make sure those Al "artist" suffer from these poisoned samples. Really suffer. 😈

( Also, yes I know NewGrounds has rules against posting Al, but I don't know how their protections against the Al programs are, so this just a precaution. )
